Install the Virtusx app on Windows

Four steps to start talking.

Before you start

• Jethro is connectedSee Connect Jethro.
• Using a Mac?See Install the Virtusx app on Mac.

Steps

1. Download Virtusx for Windows from the download page.
2. Double-click the Virtusx installer from your Downloads folder.
3. Follow the steps on screen until the installer says it's done.
4. Open Virtusx from the Start menu. The first time, it walks you through a short setup.
5. Sign in, then start the Learning Center with Complete Your First Dictation.

Tips

• Windows may block new appsBecause Virtusx updates often, Windows sometimes shows “Windows protected your PC”. Click More info, then Run anyway. If your browser says the file isn’t commonly downloaded, choose Keep, then Keep anyway.
• Then try the Translate keySpeak, and it's typed in another language.
• And the AI keyHold it and ask anything out loud.

If it does not work

• Nothing happens when you hold the Mic keyCheck that Virtusx is open and you are signed in.
